July 2026 Events: Denver and Beyond
Colorado Renaissance Festival: Saturdays & Sundays through August 2 in Larkspur. The Renaissance Festival is held over 8 weekends in June, July, and August with medieval events for all ages. It’s held from 10 am until 6:30 pm each day, rain or shine. Parking is free, and no pets are allowed.
Greeley Stampede: Wednesdays through July 5. The 105th annual Stampede features a PRCA rodeo, live country music, monster trucks, a demolition derby, carnival, roller derby, fireworks, and one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation.
Snowmass Rodeo: Wednesday nights through August 19. The 52nd annual Snowmass Rodeo brings authentic Western tradition to Pitkin County every Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 pm.
Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series: Fridays & Saturdays through August 29. Every summer on Friday and Saturday evenings, PBR rodeo cowboys compete in the Yampa Valley.
Aspen Music Festival: Select days through August 23. The Aspen Music Festival summer season is packed full of concerts, classes, performances, and a myriad of programs that attract over 100,000 music lovers annually.
Central City Opera Festival: Sat-Sun through August 2. Annual summer series featuring numerous stage productions of famous operas, held at the Central City Opera House.

Telluride Plein Air Festival: Monday-Sunday, July 1-5. A week-long open-air art event in Telluride where artists paint outdoors and, once the week is over, sell their pieces.

Paonia Cherry Days: Fri-Sat, July 3-4. The 80th annual Paonia Cherry Days Festival showcases Paonia’s delicious cherries. This two-day fest includes local business booths, music concerts, a 5K run, a talent show, skill contests, a pancake breakfast, a downtown parade, and live performances.
Cowboys’ Roundup Days: Thur-Sun, July 3-5 in Downtown Steamboat Springs. The 123rd Annual Cowboys’ Roundup Days is a truly Western celebration of Independence Day. Concerts, a parade, a rodeo, fireworks, a pancake breakfast, and other activities highlight this multi-day extravaganza.
Cherry Creek Arts Festival: Friday-Sunday, July 3-5. It’s the 34th cultural celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts, happening since 1991.
High Country Stampede Rodeo: Saturdays through August 15 in Fraser. Heading into its 43rd season of rodeo competition, this is a fantastic summer event for the Grand County community.

Cattlemen’s Days: Thur-Sat, July 9-11 in Gunnison. Weeklong festival showcasing three days of western rodeo competitions, live music, and vendors. The event claims to be the “Granddaddy of Colorado Rodeos” since 1900.
High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival: Thur-Sun, July 9-12 in Westcliffe. Four-day bluegrass festival featuring over fifteen bands that has generated over $900,000 for Custer County charities since 2003. Pet-friendly camping sites are available next to the fairgrounds.
Colorado Black Arts Festival: Friday-Sunday, July 10-12 in City Park West. Weekend of African-American culture with food, drinks, music, and outstanding art. There’s a fun parade on Saturday.
Crested Butte Wildflower Festival: Fri-Sun, July 10-19. Week of wildflower festivities including over 80 hikes, alpine yoga classes, 4×4 tours, garden tours, photography, art & cooking classes, medicinal classes using botanical ingredients, seminars on planting wildflowers at home, birding, and butterflies.
Colorado Brewers Rendezvous: Saturday, July 11 at Riverside Park in Salida. The 30th annual beer festival is held on the banks of the Arkansas River, featuring more than 70 breweries, 200 beers, and live music.
Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival: Saturday, July 11. Annual summer beer festival with over thirty breweries, live music, and local vendors with options for unlimited tastings.
Silverthorne Fine Art Festival: Saturday-Sunday, July 11-12. Free weekend of art showcasing the works of more than 80 of America’s top artists in 13 distinct categories.

Pikes Peak Or Bust Rodeo: Tues-Sat, July 14-18 in Colorado Springs. A five-day summer rodeo festival that’s now in its 85th year. Come witness a range of championship rodeo events and western festivities at the base of Pikes Peak.

Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival: Fri-Sat, July 17-18 in Cañon City. A two-day festival filled with whitewater competitions, family enjoyment, and live music.
Rocky Mountain State Games: Fri-Sun, July 17-19 in Colorado Springs. It is a high-intensity, extremely fun, and competitive weekend of Olympic-style sporting events for athletes of all ages and abilities.
Gold Rush Days: Fri-Sun, July 17-19 in Victor. A fun weekend of events centered around Victor’s rich mining heritage. Go deep inside real mines on guided tours, play mining games, do gold panning, and enjoy live music. There’s even a vintage baseball tournament.
Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival: Sat-Sun, July 18-19. Tastings of over 300 international wines available. Special events include wine seminars and jazz concerts.
Evergreen Summerfest: Sat-Sun, July 18-19. More than 100 artists gather for this community fine arts and crafts festival, now in its 46th year. Summerfest kicks off Arts Alive Evergreen, a ten-day showcase of visual and performing arts.

Evergreen Jazz Festival: Fri-Sun, July 24-26. A three-day musical event held across Evergreen, Colorado, that aims to create awareness and heighten the appreciation for traditional jazz music.
RockyGrass: Fri-Sun, July 24-26 at Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons. The 54th annual RockyGrass music festival features three days of bluegrass concerts along the banks of the St. Vrain River. Camping is available either at the festival, at Meadow Park, or at Olson Campground. Fishing and tubing are fun river activities.
Underground Music Showcase: Fri-Sun, July 24-26 in Denver. A 3-day outdoor music festival in Denver that features global bands performing throughout the Baker neighborhood.
Douglas County Fair & Rodeo: Fri-Sat, July 24-August 3 in Castle Rock. A Western and agriculture-focused festival featuring fun events for all ages. Don’t miss the PCRA rodeos and various livestock shows. The real highlight for most is the parade in downtown Castle Rock, as well as the carnival.

Cheesman Park Art Fest: Sat-Sun, July 25-26. The 13th annual art fest invites more than one hundred national, juried artists and craftsmen to showcase their work around Cheesman Park.
Middle Park Fair & Rodeo: Sun-Sun, July 26-August 9 in Kremmling. 110th annual weeklong Western rodeo and livestock show.

Archuleta County Fair: Thur-Sun, July 30-August 2 in Pagosa Springs. Hosting its 75th season, the Archuleta County Fair has been around since 1951. Events at the fair include archery, BBQ competition, boxing, Colorado State Fast Draw Championships, live music, livestock auction, Junkyard Jamboree Car Show, Salida circus, and skateboarding.
