March 2026 Events: Denver and Beyond

Will March bring us any reminder of winter as a season before spring hits? Yet to be determined… Regardless, here are all the winter and spring-themed events happening this month.

Monte Vista Crane Festival: Fri-Sun, March 6-8. At the Monte Vista Crane Festival, you can enjoy thousands of Sandhill Cranes, ducks, and geese flying against a backdrop of mountain scenery. A visit to the Monte Vista Crane Festival is an opportunity to see an amazing natural spectacle as well as experience a unique rural community.

Denver Restaurant Week: Friday-Sunday, March 6-15. Denver Restaurant Week showcases the creative, exciting menus that diners have come to expect – with both to-go and in-person options. There are four price points: $25, $35, $45, and $55 for a multi-course meal.

Bud Light Rocks the Boat: Saturdays; March 7, 14, 21, 28 in Steamboat. Celebrate spring in Steamboat with the return of a beloved tradition. Now in its 25th year, Bud Light Rocks the Boat brings free concerts to Steamboat Square, creating the perfect après-ski atmosphere every weekend.

Mile High Beer Festival: Saturday, March 7 at the Denargo Market, Downtown. Sample an unbeatable selection of craft brews from 40+ Colorado breweries, cideries, and distilleries, plus out-of-state favorites—over 100 beverages to discover! Vibe with fellow beer enthusiasts, enjoy live music, and soak up the atmosphere in Denargo Market's open spaces designed for gathering and play.

Leadville Ski Joring: Sat-Sun, March 7-8. Ski Joring is a competition where a horse and rider pull a skier at a fast pace through a course that has gates, jumps, and rings. The Leadville Ski Joring event has been going on in Leadville since 1949, and is one of the premier events of its kind in the country.

Denver’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Saturday, March 14. Denver’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the largest in the country. Running for over 60 years, you can expect to see floats, dancing, live bands, charities, and local celebrities.

Denver Home Show: Fri-Sun, March 27-29. The Denver Home Show is a vibrant marketplace where you can shop for home-related products and services, experience stunning displays to help inspire your next home project, connect with industry experts, and enjoy informative presentations from renowned local and international home professionals.

Frozen Dead Guy Days: Fri-Sun, March 27-29. Frozen Dead Guy Days comes to life on Saturday with the main festival, Coffin Races, music, and all the wonderfully weird moments the event is known for. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Throughout the weekend, Estes Park fills in the gaps with community events, pop-ups, live music, art, and special happenings inspired by the festival.
