Just Sold: Noa
I told the story of purchasing Noa's new home a few months ago. Now, it's time for the story of selling her home.
She owned half a gorgeous duplex in Capitol Hill, and we got it closed off-market with a cash deal! Her neighbor in the other half of the duplex wanted to purchase and rent to friends and family. They did not have an agent, so we presented a ‘reverse offer’ to the buyers with the price and terms that worked for Noa. Normally, the buyers submit the offer, but in this case, we filled out the contract as the seller. They signed it, and we were off to the closing process. It took about 6 weeks as the buyers were traveling internationally.
We had a list of minor items to fix from their inspection, and thanks to some of my industry partners, we got them all fixed in time to close. Noa completed the remodeling in her new home and moved in, so we had the time and space to clean the carpet, replace mirrors, and do some other small things. At times, it didn’t feel easy, but everything worked out just the way it was supposed to.
I just attended Noa’s housewarming party at her new home. At the end of the day, it’s all about the relationships we build during these tricky transactions. Thank you, Noa, for your trust and friendship! Cheers to closing chapters and writing new books.
