Just Closed: Kellie

I met Kellie's daughter, Karlie, early last year. Their family was going through many life transitions, and Kellie was relocating to Colorado. Karlie and I looked at condos all around Littleton. Kellie was still living in Arizona, so we spent a lot of time showing homes on FaceTime. Karlie was quite pregnant, so eventually I got to meet her new daughter, baby P. I love being a part of all these life phases.

Kellie and Karlie’s family went through some hard times while we were looking for homes and through the closing process. Life kept happening. Good, bad, sickness, health, travel, babies… everything. It was a journey.

We finally found ‘orange fridge’ house. We submitted an offer, and the sellers countered. Kellie decided it wasn’t the right time, so we didn’t go under contract. Life kept happening. When the time felt right, the condo was still on the market. We came back for another look, and the listing agent left fresh-baked cookies and a very sweet card for the seller. It’s moments like this that really make me appreciate and love my job. We submitted a new offer and went under contract!

Kellie did a virtual closing in Arizona with COVID… I swear, this sweet woman had one of the more challenging closings because of LIFE! I am so proud of her and so grateful to know her. She is incredibly strong.

She moved out to Colorado a little while later and is enjoying her quiet condo, the enclosed patio, orange fridge, and her life with her family close by. Every closing is special, but this one felt a little more special for the relationships developed and all the challenges overcome. Congrats, Kellie, and thank you for your trust. You are amazing!
