June 2025: Denver + Beyond Events
June is stacked! Farmer’s markets, Red Rocks for yoga, a concert, or a movie, all the mountain festivals, Juneteenth, and Pride. Whatever you are into, you can find it in June in Colorado.
Colorado Governor’s Art Show through June 14 at Fifth and Lincoln Ave in Loveland. This is one of the biggest juried art shows in the state for only Colorado artists, heading into its 34th year.
Yoga on the Rocks: Saturdays through August 9 at Red Rocks. Every Saturday morning, yogis of all levels can begin their day by flowing in the serene and beautiful outdoor setting of the iconic Red Rock Amphitheatre.
GoPro Mountain Games: Thur-Sun, June 5-8 in Vail. Summer GoPro Mountain Games are the biggest festival of adventure sports, art, and music, held annually in Vail. There are competitions in biking, climbing, fishing, kayaking, slacklining, standup paddling, rafting, running, disc golf, and even events for dogs.
Cultural Caravan June Festival: Thurs-Sun, June 5-15 in Boulder County. Music festival held throughout Boulder County and presented by Cultural Caravan.
Greeley Blues Jam: Fri-Sat, June 6-7. Blues music festival with a variety of events for the whole family. Camping is available at the festival location in Island Grove Park.
Telluride Balloon Festival: Fri-Sun, June 6-8. 42nd year, festivities include two sunrise balloon ascensions from Town Park, a sunset glow on Main Street, and a balloon workshop.
Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival: Fri-Sun, June 6-8. Annual bluegrass fest in Riverbend Park, featuring guitars, fiddles, and amazing artistry.
Colorado Medieval Festival: Fri-Sun June 6-8 in Loveland. It’s an outdoor medieval-themed festival with live entertainment including knights, swordsmanship, and music. There’ll be plenty of food, beer, craft vendors, and a kids zone. No pets are allowed.
Denver Chalk Art Festival: Sat-Sun, June 7-8 in Golden Triangle, Downtown Denver. Watch over 200 artists spend the weekend making the sidewalks of the Golden Triangle come to life with brilliant chalk creations.
Colorado College Summer Music Festival: Sat-Fri, June 7-27 in Colorado Springs. An annual 3-week classical orchestral and chamber music festival showcasing classically trained musicians from around the globe as well as Colorado College students and faculty members.
Colorado Shakespeare Festival: Mixed days, June 7 – August 10 in Boulder. With over 60 successful seasons under its belt, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival showcases multiple performances of some of Shakespeare’s best plays. It’s held on varying days on the CU campus.
FIBArk Salida: Thurs-Sun, June 12-15. America’s oldest whitewater festival, dating back to 1949. There are several exciting events including the Slalom Race, Crazy River Dog, and the Hooligan Race. Camping is available in the town of Salida and nearby on Highway 50.
Aspen Fringe Festival: Fri-Sat, June 13-14. A multiple-day performance art festival highlighting the work of a featured playwright.
Juneteenth Music Festival: Sun, June 15 in Denver. Denver’s Juneteenth Music Festival is one of the country’s largest celebrations. Attracting 50,000 attendees, the festival boasts live music, vendors, food stalls, art murals, activities for kids, and a parade.
Film on the Rocks: Select Mondays | June 9, June 23, June 30, July 7, August 18 at Red Rocks. Annual summer movie series held at Red Rocks Amphitheater showcasing a range of films on Monday nights. A great event for families, these showings are a great way to get out and enjoy the warm weather.
Colorado Renaissance Festival: Sat & Sun, June 14 – August 3 in Larkspur. The Renaissance Festival is held over 8 weekends in June, July, and August with medieval events for all ages. It’s held from 10 am until 6:30 pm each day, rain or shine. Parking is free and no pets are allowed.
Telluride Bluegrass Festival: Thur-Sun, June 19-22. The 52nd annual bluegrass music festival in downtown Telluride.
Bravo! Vail Music Festival: Thur-Thur, June 19 – July 31. Orchestras from around the world perform in the vibrant Vail Valley during the peak of the summer season.
Strawberry Days: Fri-Sun, June 20-22 in Glenwood Springs. The 128th annual festival is held the third weekend in June every year. It features live music, stage entertainment, a FamilyFest for kids, arts & crafts, a food court, a carnival, and a parade down Grand Avenue. Of course, there are free strawberries and ice cream after the parade.
Food & Wine Classic in Aspen: Fri-Sun, June 20-22. Learn from world-renowned chefs who give cooking presentations and lectures, and enjoy top-notch cooking and wine, as well as beer, wine, and cocktails.
Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series: Fri & Sat | June 20 – August 23. Every summer on Friday and Saturday evenings, PBR rodeo cowboys compete in the Yampa Valley.
Reds, Whites & Brews Festival in the Boat: Sat, June 21 in Steamboat Springs. Premier fine wine and craft beer event with live music, retail vendors, and local food.
Keystone Bacon & Bourbon Festival: Sat-Sun, June 21-22. About: Everything bacon at this annual festival, featuring bacon-infused cuisine from around twenty food vendors, a Bacon Bloody Mary Bar, and live music.
Greeley Stampede: Weds, June 25 – Sunday, July 6. The 104th annual Stampede features a PRCA rodeo, live country music, monster trucks, a demolition derby, carnival, roller derby, fireworks, and one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation.
Country Jam: Thur-Sat, June 26-28 in Grand Junction. Three-day country music party on the Western Slope, with camping available.
Telluride Yoga Festival: Thur-Sun, June 26-29. The Telluride Yoga Festival is a four-day event where guests can learn from yoga masters, meditate, hike, raft, take aerial classes, climb, and participate in social events all with a beautiful alpine backdrop.
Denver Pride 5k: Sat, June 28. Taking place during Denver Pride, the 5k race’s proceeds are donated to The Center on Colfax, the largest health and wellness center that offers services to LGBTQ people of all ages in the Rocky Mountains.
Denver PrideFest: Sat-Sun, June 28-29. The 51st-year Denver PrideFest welcomes all to come celebrate this community event over the weekend. It begins with the Denver Pride 5K and follows with fun events on Saturday and Sunday.
Stills In The Hills: Sat, June 28 in Central City. Main Street in historic Central City hosts the 10th Stills In The Hills. It’s free to attend with live music and local food, but unlimited tastings come with a fee. Pets are not welcome.
Scandinavian Midsummer Festival: Sat-Sun, June 28-29 in Highlands Ranch. Come celebrate the longest day of summer, the Summer Solstice, with Scandinavian song, dance, and music. There’ll be local food and crafts, a Viking encampment, a silent auction, and a raffle for a trip to Scandinavia.
Vail Lacrosse Shootout: Sat-Sun, June 28 – July 6. The Vail Lacrosse Shootout is an 11-day annual sports event for players ages 17 – 70. With nine divisions for players and teams, the shootout will take place at multiple fields in Avon, Edwards, and Vail.
