Just Closed: Sandra

Sandra and I met at my first job out of college over a decade ago. We kept in touch through coffee chats and hikes over the years. At the end of last year, she said she was ready for a move sometime in 2025 to a larger home with enough space for her 2 teenage sons and 2 dogs.

And then, all of a sudden, she found a new build and wanted to move more quickly! So, we made a plan to prep her house: lots of decluttering, professional photos and videos, a stellar MLS listing, a showing schedule that worked for her family, and a few minor maintenance tune-ups. We got it listed a few weeks later at the beginning of January on one of those freezing cold weekends. (Remember the cold weather?!)

We visited the new build community a few times and found the perfect townhouse at the perfect price. We found a buyer for her home and had a very easy inspection, thanks to Sandra’s maintenance and care of her home over the years.

We were able to negotiate blinds, a washer/dryer, and a fridge for her new home! Fun fact, those are not standard inclusions for new builds.

3 months later… She sold her condo, bought her townhouse, and moved… all on the same day. Her family has settled in very well in their new home, and I can’t wait to see how she makes it her own. I am so grateful, always and forever, when friends and family ask me to help them through one of the biggest transactions and changes of their lives.
