Just Closed: Kaitlin and Preston

Kaitlin, Preston, and I met to look at homes when Kaitlin was about 8 months pregnant. They wanted to get into a new home before their daughter was born, and we almost made it… she came a little early. Kaitlin was such a trooper through the entire process. It’s not easy looking at homes when you’re about to give birth.

We looked at several homes and even went under contract once before terminating after inspection for roof issues and asbestos in the ceilings. We wanted to make sure their home was safe, of course! The first one needed more work than they wanted to take on, so we continued our search.

Not long after, we finally found the one in Arvada. It had a beautiful backyard, a large 2-car garage, and a basement where they wanted to add another bedroom. If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember the Broncos house… this was it! We were able to get their home under list price, negotiated some inspection fixes, and I put them in touch with one of my favorite contractors to get the house painted (the prettiest yellow in the baby’s room) and redo the floors upstairs! It looks absolutely gorgeous now.

We all attended closing, baby Q included (my youngest homeowner to date), and they have enjoyed their home ever since. They just installed a heat pump for more effective cooling and heating year-round. I am so grateful to have their trust throughout this wild process.
